I don't care if Nic's a demon--after all, Mika is too, right? Demons are people too.
But I know no demon male is going to want a weak woman, so I talked Uncle David into teaching me the down and dirty martial arts fighting he taught Mika. He thinks it's because I'm worried about walking the campus at night and doesn't need to know anything else.

Ask your man Aslet what a Kiverian demon can do. Or better yet, ask him what a Mahsei demon with the strength of a Kiverian can do.

You know, CF, I hate to say this since I promised I'd keep quiet about him, but your dog isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. Even if he doesn't know the intricacies of demons, you'd think he could figure out that McCabe would protect my family because of how much they mean to me. So even if I were still only a Mahsei, the threat of Conor's power would make a smart being more careful.
*Shrug* what can I say about his ability to run at the mouth. Perhaps his over-snacking as of late has increased his obnoxious behavior.
M, I love ya but you realize you are only egging him on. Its really all right though because the more irritated he is with you the more he wants me to .....relieve his tensions.
