Alzbeta

I think Alzbeta and I are going to end up as friends. No one is more surprised by that than I am. She is a dark demon. But when we were fighting to get Marc out of Orcus, she was firmly on our side and her help was invaluable. That was what prompted me to take her shopping last night even though I still wasn't sure what I thought about her. It surprised me to discover that she isn't evil like the other Dark Ones. We actually had fun! I know, it stunned me too. Dark demons and fun seems like such an oxymoron.

Ven, sorry about not getting back to you--I didn't check in last night. Alzbeta and I have decided we're going to spend the day shopping at Venice Beach on the 15th. Without our males in tow. Do you and CF want to join us?

Mika,
Had a blast with you and McCabe last night. Of course I want to shop but erm..the 15th you say? Hmm...I could manage to make time. At least you weren't offering up the 13th.

Necro did you free your day up?

Mika, I would love a shopping expedition. We could introduce Alzbeta to the joys of Jimmy Choo's.

CF,

No, Saturday the 15th. I adore Venice Beach and Conor was such a fuddy duddy the last time we went. He growled when I danced with one of the street performers and wouldn't let me look at the cropped T-shirts. Sigh. That's why I thought this would be a good girls-only outing.

Conor and I had fun Saturday too! I don't know when Zain shaved his head. Go to Orcus for a couple of weeks and everything changes in town. I sensed a little chemistry there, yes?

Ven,

You thinking we should hit Rodeo before rolling over to Venice Beach? I saw the cutest Jimmy Choo butterfly pumps in chocolate brown that I'm dying to try on. McCabe was with me, though, so I only looked. The man would have a stroke if I was ever stupid enough to let him know what my clothes cost. :-)

Great I am so there! Girls-day out sounds like a relief from current day to day happenings. I still can't believe my ex-roomy ratted me out. Anyways M looking foreward to it.

Zaine is (in Ven's words) very lickable but Smith is still the man I like to see in my apartment late at night.

Nice try Mika but I don't think you're going to win on this 'set CF up with a demon' thing.

It's not about winning, CF, it's about options. :-)

Mika,
Rodeo sounds perfect. Might as well introduce Alzbeta to the finer things in life. Really, it would be the best revenge on Marc to have him paying the credit card bill for the next 10 years..haha!
Not to mention what a blast we all will have.
We can make a day of it and hit Rodeo and Venice.
Can't wait and thanks for letting me invite myself!

CF,

I've never considered myself competitive. You can't count what goes on between Conor and me--that's sex play.

Ven,

Brilliant idea! We'll just have to make sure that Alzbeta doesn't bankrupt him. :-) There's nothing more fun than a day out shopping with the girls. I can hardly wait!

I love it - we'll teach her how to revenge shop. But also how to practice the fine art of giving him a coronary without busting the bank.

I am looking forward to this day out.

M, call me on my cell later if you have found anything more out??

I talked to Alzbeta and she's excited about tomorrow. CF/Ven, where do you want to meet?

Ah, yes, revenge shopping. Now that combines two of the best things ever--buying things and evening the score.

Will the characters in the series be developed more or the worlds? Demon, werewolf, vampire, rogues, etc.

Hi Anonymous,

There's going to be a Crimson City anthology coming in 2007. All five authors from the original series are participating. I don't know if anything beyond that will happen, but it's Liz Maverick's world, so you might want to ask her. Here's a link to her website Liz Maverick and you can email her from there.

Thank you for asking!
Patti
