Fabulous Las Vegas

We made it to Vegas. Conor drives fast, which isn't a bad thing at all. I haven't been here since I was in college and so much has changed. Or maybe I just don't remember much--I had just turned 21. ;-) The energy here is interesting, vibrant.

McCabe was going to stop at the No Tell Motel, but I convinced him to let me choose our accommodations. Since he's trying to atone for taking off without me, he wasn't a hard sell. I picked something with a lot more class than my mate would have chosen. The Bellagio has a five diamond rating and is stunning.

I think in the future, I'll make sure I choose all our hotels.

We're going to take a short nap, grab something to eat and head out looking for Marc.

I am sooo....jelous. I'm here dealing with friggin full moon. Its not settling with me makes me itchy to head out on the town, but I am trying to be a good girl.
Have a blast and keep us updated.
At least with you both not here..I can meet with Aslet uninterrupted...ha ha ha. :P

:P Its Valentine's day! Hope you're loving spending it in Vegas you two :P. It must suck to not only have a love life on Valentine's day but to also be in VEGAS with the love of your life on Valentine's day.
Maybe that's why Marc's there..a Valentine gift for his new demon-girlfriend. If he is safe maybe they are just a cute couple...who knows but keep us updated.

It might be a bit more romantic if Conor weren't so intent on his mission, but I knew this facet of my mate when I bonded with him. I'm going to try to talk him into seeing a show before we come home, though. Something funny, I think.

I would love to see you drag McCabe to a drag show. It might be more funny to watch his reaction. Romantic or not, mission or not, I am still jealous ;)
You are right, you need to find a moment to enjoy it before leaving.
Have you kicked Connor's butt for seeking out Aslet yet? Not smart of him and demon protectiveness mixed with human testosterone is not a good excuse to not thinking clearly.

Your suggestion about taking Conor to a drag show had me LOL! I can just imagine the look on his face.

Um, I did a number of things with McCabe's body today, but kicking his butt wasn't one of them. It was more along the lines of kissing and making up. It's impossible to remain mad at him on Valentine's Day. Especially when Conor was being his gruffly sweet self.

You know Valentine's day is overrated don't you? Romance is giving flowers and cards just because ...not because the card companies decided that February needed to be exploited.
So did you go to a drag show then?! I can imagine his half demon self would actually be wondering what ever pocessed those humans to do that to themselves. Never know, as sexy as Conor is he might get hit on by a drag queen.
I'm sorry Conor the thought is killing me! :D.
Any news on Marc?

No shows yet. Business first, to quote McCabe, and that means finding Hayes. It won't be an easy task either. The strip goes on forever and filled with enormous hotels. I'm keeping my eyes open--and my senses--for Marc's demon girlfriend. Unless she's deliberately cloaking, I have a better chance of sensing her than seeing them.

Okay well then I'm not so jelous then. All work and no play right now.
I would say if she knows your looking for him..she's cloaking. You're more the expert than I am on the demon things so I am sure I'm not saying anything you don't already know.
Stay safe in Sin City...this city seems to behaving itself at the moment.

I've considered that and I don't believe this dark demon has any reason to think we're looking for her or Marc. At least not in Vegas. I've been wrong before, though.

And no, no playing--well, not outside of bed. ;-) Conor is far too duty-bound to have any fun until the job is done.
